Please be advised that the Maynard Select Board, acting at their December 19, 2017 meeting voted: “To set the date and time of a Special Town Meeting (STM) as 7 pm on Monday, March 26, 2018 and to designate the Fowler School Auditorium at 3 Tiger Drive as the location for this Special Town Meeting.”
Citizen’s petitions must be submitted with the question presented at the top of each side of the signature page. They must be submitted to the Town Clerks Office and certified by the Town Clerk in order to be included on the warrant.
The deadline for submission of Citizens Petition Articles for the Special Town Meeting was Noon Friday February 9, 2018 (Per Charter, at least 45 days before special town meeting).
STM Warrant was available here and at Town Hall on March 8, 2018.
The Finance Committee will hold a public review of all warrant articles on March 19th.
Note: The warrant was revised on 20-Mar-2018 in accordance with Maynard Charter Section 2-6, which allows for minor edits to be posted here on the website. Article 13 was changed, eliminating several words that change the administration of fines from a range to a fixed value. So, ‘up to $100.00’ and ‘not more than $300.00’ have been changed to ‘$100.00’ and ‘$300.00.’
