Submitting Applications

Submitting Planning Board or Zoning Board of Appeals Applications

  • Information on preparing applications contained can be found on the application preparation document (PDF).
  • Links to all applications are contained at the bottom of this page.
  • Abutter's mailing lists can be requested online from the Property Assessor and can be delivered internally from the assessor to the Office of Municipal Services. Mailing lists are part of required application materials.
  • All payments must be made by check to "Town of Maynard".
  • Applications, including all materials and fees (other than emailed applications) can be submitted:
    • In person to the OMS at Town Hall during normal business hours.
    • Via surface mail to OMS, 195 Main Street, Maynard, MA. 01754.
    • Via email. Note: fees for applications submitted electronically, must be received before an item is scheduled for a Board meeting.
  • Applications will not be considered officially submitted until deemed "complete" by the OMS staff. If deemed complete, applications will be date-stamped by the Clerk and the applicants notified of hearing/meeting date by OMS staff. If incomplete, applicants will be contacted by OMS staff and provided with any necessary guidance on preparation of a re-submittal package. Materials submitted after 2 pm, Monday through Thursday or after 10 am. Friday, will not be processed for completeness until the next business day at the earliest.
