Hometown Heroes Committee

Mission

Creating a Hometown Heroes banner program in Maynard to honor and raise awareness about Maynard’s Veterans and those Veterans who have made the greatest sacrifice.

The initial fundraising to hang First Phase honored the town’s 46 KIAs on Memorial Day 2020. Phases 2 and 3 continues to grow the program to honor additional Veterans and active duty Military in subsequent years on Memorial & Veterans’ Day.

Phase 3 (2023) – Open for Applications until March 15.

The Hometown Heroes banner program is in Phase 3 and is accepting applications for banners.   Please click here to visit the Phase 3 Application page to learn more about the program and obtain an application form.
