- Promote the inclusion of peoples with disabilities (permanent or temporary) into the Maynard community by providing access to activities, employment opportunities, and services;
- Act as an intermediary between The Town of Maynard and people in the community with disabilities;
- Advocate for equal access to community programs, events, opportunities, and employment for all people;
- Educate town citizens and officials about the Town's needs including, but not limited to, physical accessibility, communications, and community programs;
- Provide a referral database of area resources and services for Citizens in need;
- Assist other town-sponsored groups with meeting the accessibility needs of people with disabilities;
- Help the Town ensure compliance with federal and state accessibility laws, including and not limited to the ADA.
