2023 Elections

Our next Annual Town Election takes place on: Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023

Polling Location & Time

There is one polling location for all precincts in Town: Fowler School – 3 Tiger Drive. 

The polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm. 

Absentee Ballots Applications

Absentee Ballots are available at the Town Clerk’s office for the May 2nd, 2023, Local Election. Applications for Vote by Mail must be in the Town Clerk's Office by Wednesday, April 26, 2023.  Deadline to vote in person is Noon on May 1st, 2023.  For a Vote by Mail application, click here

Testing of Voting Equipment – TBD

The test for the ballot tabulating equipment for the upcoming Annual Town Election will be posted soon. There has been no change in type of voting equipment used by the Town of Maynard since the last election.

Testing will be held in Town Hall located at:

The required number of signatures for candidates is set at 1% of the total number of voters in the Town of Maynard in the last race for Governor. The total number of voters in the 2022 Governor’s Race in Maynard was 5,158. MGL Ch 53, §6 states the number of signatures required cannot be less than 20 and no more than 50.
