Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A s.5 and s.9, the Maynard Planning Board will hold a hybrid public hearing on October 24, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall, 195 Main Street, Maynard MA, 01754 and also accessible via ZOOM video, to hear all persons interested in the application filed by the petitioner Blatman, Bobrowski, Haverty & Silverstein, LLC, 9 Damonmill Square, Ste. 4A4, Concord, MA 01742, on behalf of the owner Two Powdermill LLC, 50 North Avenue, Natick, MA.
The Petitioner is requesting Special Permit and Site Plan approval for the property located at 2-6 Powder Mill Road, Maynard, MA 01754. The proposed plan is for a mixed-use development consisting of 36 residential units and 4,950 square feet of commercial space. The property is being developed under the Downtown Overlay District (DOD) zoning regulations. The project also requires a development agreement between the petitioner and the Town and is subject to the Town’s affordable housing requirements. This application is consistent with sections of the Maynard Zoning By-Laws including, but not limited to, Sections 6.1.4, 9.4.3, 9.4.5, 9.4.6, 22.214.171.124, 10.4, and 10.5.
